Now I blush
Beloved, I sought Youhere and there,
asked for news of You
from all I met;
Then saw You
through
myself
and found we were one.
Now I blush to think I ever
searched for signs of You.

Yes! Yes! Yes!
Signs are within you and all around you. Who can make you discover it but you?. Don't outsource the search for the Beloved if you know what I mean!

Let me hide in You
From everything that distracts me from You,
From everything that comes in my way
When I want to run to You.

Close the Language-Door
There is some kiss we want
with our whole lives,
the touch of Spirit on the body.
Seawater begs the pearl
to break its shell.
And the lily, how passionately
it needs some wild Darling!
At night, I open the window
and ask the moon to come
and press its face against mine.
Breathe into me.
Close the language-door,
and open the love-window
The moon won't use the door,
only the window.-Rumi
Such Loveliness.
Could God really be anything but pleased with him I wonder? I think not.
This is truly one of the most beautiful poems,
I have ever been blessed to place my eyes upon;
one of the most beautiful expressions of the Heart,
I have ever heard, to Sing me Home.
Thank You.

Love came
flowed like blood
beneath skin, through veins
emptied me of my self
filled me
with the Beloved
till every limb
every organ was seized
and occupied
till only
my name remains.
the rest is It.

"Only believers who can sense all the beauty of the universe in a single flower and see rainstorms in a drop of water can know and understand its real countenance. Through the eye of the heart we have grasped the essential identity between the kernel of belief and the touba tree in Paradise. We have risen to make a journey extending far into the realms beyond being" says Fethullah Gulen, a Turkish scholar, some call him modern Sufi. I`ve read couple articles about Fethullah Gulen`s interpretation of Sufism. Fethullah Gulen and Sufism and another one on Fethullah Gulen`s interpretation of Sufism. Gulen amazes me with his writing. What else can be said but this only "Only those who overflow with love will build the happy and enlightened world of the future. Their lips smiling with love, their hearts brimming with love, their eyes radiating love and the most tender human feelings-such are the heroes of love who always receive messages of love from the rising and setting of the sun and from the flickering light of the stars."
Dear Sadiq,
Thank you for sharing this poem!!

"Verily, Almighty God has a wine for His friends, such that when they drink of it, they become intoxicated, and once they are intoxicated they become merry, and once they are merry, they become purged, and once they are purged they become melted down, and once they are melted down, they become purified, and once they become purified they arrive, and once they arrive they become united with the Divine, and once they are united with the Divine there is no distinction between them and their Beloved."
hadith qudsi
Those who want to reform the world must first reform themselves. If they want to lead others to a better world, they must purify their inner worlds of hatred, rancor, and jealousy, and adorn their outer worlds with virtue. The words of those who cannot control and disci-pline themselves, and who have not refined their feelings, may seem attractive and insightful at first. How-ever, even if they somehow manage to inspire others, which they sometimes do, the sentiments they arouse will soon wither.

James, sir i really liked the hadidth ...its 100% correct
its like a step by step approach to merge in Allah(swt)'s grace...
I am the One whom I love, and the One whom I love is myself.
We are two souls incarnated in one body;
if you see me, you see Him,
if you see Him, you see us.

Beautiful comments!
Thanks to our new visitors Joseph and Abdul Hamid for sharing from Fetullah Gulen, may God bless him and give him long life.
Vimesh, this has long been one of my favourite verses of Hallaj. Mustafa Ja'far - who I took a couple of calligraphy courses with a few years back (and whose work I greatly admire) - has a lovely interpretation of it on his website http://www.arabigraphy.com/gallery/slide.html. You have to click through to get to it - but the other pieces are a treat, too! ;-)
Dear James,
Saalams.
Its wonderful to know that you learned arabic calligraphy from this master artist. It will be honor, if someday we could share some of your art work and if God so wills, we can do an online sale auction with your permission to raise some money fi'sabilillah, for the cause of Allah with an intention to donate to poor / needy.
Best wishes.
Sadiq, my feeble attempts at calligraphy bear no comparison to Mustafa's masterly compositions. But I have produced some interpretations of sayings that have been 'lights' for me, and I would be very happy to share them. If there were some way of raising money for a worthy cause, I should be very happy.
yaaaaaaaaaa
I am really pleased by such a wonderful poem
Its really a heart touching poem!!!!!!!!!!!
