everyone of us have wings.
some are born with two wings,
some four or fourteen.
only the gifted masters:
the Christ figures among us of all ages
perceive our invisible wings.
lo! we have wings, yet we keep on crawling.
many of us never learn
in our whole life how to fly using them.
the masters' hearts ache to see
our wings on dust,
dragged on like heavy curtains,
and dead weights.
we enshroud and suffocate our wings
dead in ignorance.
alike beloved master Jesus,
all masters beckon us to realize Freedom.
they call us to know the Self,
to know and be part of the Truth,
to fly and be free from this bondage of small self.
they wonder at us:
why walk if you can fly?

Hello my friend, I am not sure if you participate in these sort of things but I recently was selected for a meme on books, and I have chosen you as one of the people to participate, if you want of course. Check it out on my blog if you are interested! :)

A lovely poem, dear Bhai, and one achingly true. We have wings of light, and yet many choose to remain in the dark.
Ya Haqq!
The small self found a feather and it was love.
And loved showed the child the feather of truths.
And wisdom grew from the truth and walked with the child looking for feathers.
And when all the feathers are gatherd love binds them.
To be one with the great Angel.
May you love like a river seaker..
