I said no doubt it’s You! It’s You!
You are the One who
encompassed every "where"
so there is no "where", except You are there
in regards to You
for "where" to know where You are.
nor can imagination, imagine You
for imagination to know where You are
So that everything I see is You
And in my anhilation,
is the anhilation of my anhilatoin
And in my anhilation, I found You.

Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:
Our greatest enemy is ourself. All weakness, all ignorance keeps us from the truth of our being, from all the virtues hidden in us and all perfection hidden in our souls. The first self we realize is the false self. Unless the soul is born again it will not see the kingdom of heaven. The soul is born into the false self; it is blind. In the true self the soul opens its eyes. Unless the false self is fought with, the true self cannot be realized...
The lions could not harm Daniel because of the harmony of his will with the universal Will. The lions represent the destructive elements in the human mind. They represent wars, disappointments, rivalries, jealousies, envy, passions, and so forth, in different horrible guises. Our ego is the lion of lions, and if this is conquered, then these external lions different egos around us are conquered also, and wherever we go, with anyone, whether foolish or wise, good or bad, we now have peace.
To learn the lesson of how to live is more important than any psychic or occult learning. Everyday we think we have learned the lesson, but if we had the world would have become a heaven for us now.
from http://wahiduddin.net/mv2/VII/VII_5.htm
The work of the spiritual man is to forget his false self and so to realize the true self which is God, and this true self not only in him, but in his neighbor also.
~~~ unpublished "Supplementary Papers, Brotherhood II", by Hazrat Inayat Khan
Man struggles with things that are outside him, and so he gives a chance to the foes who exist in his own being. Therefore the first thing necessary in life is to make peace for the time being with the outside world, in order to prepare for the war which is to be fought within oneself. Once peace is made within, one will gain by that sufficient strength and power to be used through the struggle of life within and without... Life is one long journey, and the further behind we have left our self, the further we have progressed toward the goal. Verily when the false self is lost the true self is discovered.
................................................................... This verse talks about the duty to remind people about what is good and what is bad. It is a responsibility for all of us to help other in the humanity by helping them minding the morals. It is natural for human beings to forget, and that is why the necessity of reminding people time and time again comes. Pin It Now!
Do Muslims Respect 10 Commandments?
I was listening to Paltalk in a Jewish room. There one claimed that Muslims don't respect 10 Commandments. So I wanted to investigate is it really the case?
First take a look at the 10 Commandments given to Moses (peace be upon him) from Lord::
1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me. And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
5. Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
6. Thou shalt not kill.
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8. Thou shalt not steal.
9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
Now interestingly all the commandments can be found in Quran as well:
10 Commandments restated in QURAN:
1st commandments:
17:22: Do not associate another deity with God. 47:19: Know therefore that there is no god but God.
2nd Commandments:
6:103: No visions can encompass Him, but He encompasses all visions. 14:35: My Lord, make this a peaceful land, and protect me and my children from worshiping idols. 42:11: There is nothing that equals (like) Him.
3rd Commandments:
2:224: Do not use God's name in your oaths as an excuse to prevent you from dealing justly. 73:8: Remember the name of your Lord and devote yourself to Him exclusively. 76:25 Glorify the name of your Lord morning and evening.
4th Commandments:
62-9: When the call for the Friday Prayer is made, hasten to the remembrance of God and leave off your business.
5th Commandments:
17:23-24: You shall be kind to your parents. If one or both of them live to their old age in your lifetime, you shall not say to them any word of contempt nor repel them, and you shall address them in kind words. You shall lower to them the wing of humility and pray: "O Lord! Bestow on them Your blessings just as they cherished me when I was a little child.
6th Commandments:
17:33: And do not take any human being's life - that God willed to be sacred - other than in [the pursuit of] justice.
7th Commandments:
17:32: You shall not commit adultery. Surely it is a shameful deed and an evil way.
8th Commandments:
5:38 & 39: The thief, male or female, you shall mark their hands as a punishment for their crime, and to serve as an example from GOD. GOD is Almighty, Most Wise.
9th Commandments:
25:72: And (know that the true servants of God are) those who do not bear witness to falsehood.
10th Commandments:
4:32: Do not covet the bounties that God has bestowed more abundantly on some of you than on others.
And since every verse of Quran is from Lord and is must be respected and followed upon, so there is no point saying Muslims don't recognize 10 Commandments. It shows how gross misconception about Islam exists in the world. The paltalk room was based in USA. Pin It Now!Monday, April 11, 2005
i'd run right into hell and back.
I would do anything for love,
i'll never lie to you and thats a fact.
but i'll never forget the way you feel right now,
oh no, no way.
And i would do anything for love,
oh i would do anything for love,
i would do anything for love,
but i won't do that, ahh, no i won't do that.
And some days, it don't come easy,
and some days it don't come hard,
Some days, it don't come at all,
and these are the days that never end.
And some nights you're breathing fire,
and some nights you're carved in ice,
Some nights you're like nothing i've ever seen before will again.
And maybe i'm crazy,
oh it's crazy and it's true,
I know you can save me, know one else can save me now but you.
As long as the planets are turning,
as long as the stars are burning,
As long as your dreams are coming true,
You better believe it.
That i would do anything for love,
oh i would do anything for love,
oh i would do anything for love,
but i won't do that,
no i wont do that.
I would do anything for love,
anything you're been dreaming of,
but i just won't do that,
I would do anything for love,
anything you're been dreaming of,
but i just won't do that.
And some days i pray for silence,
and some days i pray for soul,
some days i just pray to the god of sex and drums and rock 'N roll.
And maybe i'm lonely,
thats all i'm qualified to be,
theres just one,
one and only promise i can keep.
As long as the wheels are turning,
as long as the fires burning,
as long as your prayers are coming true,
you better believe it.
That i would do anything for love,
and you know it's true, and a fact,
i would do anything for love,
and there'll never be no turning back.
But i'll never do it better then i do it with you,
So long, so long,
And i would do anything for love,
oh i would do anything for love,
i would do anything for love,
but i won't do that,
No no no i won't do that.
Will you raise me up, will you help me down?
Will you get me right out of this godforsaken town?
Will you make it all a little less cold?
I can do that! Oh oh now i can do that!
Will you cater to every fantasy i got?
Will you hose me down with holy water, if i get too hot! (HOT)?
Will you take me places i've never known?
Now i can do that, oh, oh now i can do that!
I know and territory, I've been around,
It'll all ture to dust,
and we'll all fall down,
and sooner or later you'll be screwing around,
I won't do that! No i won't do that! Anything for love, but i won't do that.
(Here a lady and a baul argues about the orthodox religious view and that of the mystics. The lady pooints out non-accepted ways of the mystics, and the baul answers back in the song)
If you wish to go to heaven
Keep fear of Allah in your heart.
If you want to be close to Allah
keep love within your heart.
I'm just your daughters age
I'll assume the side of sharia
To take an anti-Sufi stance
Don't take what I say to heart
You ignore the Holy Scriptures
What kind of Muslims are you?
Why are the mullahs
Always angry with you?
You need wisdom to grasp the Koran
How can half-read mullahs interpret intricate scriptures?
Without knowing the text they preach to others
The dogmatic mullahs make a living from deception.
We don't lust for heaven, We have no fear of hell.
If you want to be close to Allah
keep love within your heart.
You sufis chant Allahs name ignoring creed and prayer. You smoke pot during Ramadan
With the excuse of meditation.
You don't go on pilgrimage
You don't give charity
What you have against ritual sacrifice?
Why should Muslims quaver at the sight of blood?
Keep fear of Allah in your heart.
You are asked to sacrifice your dearest ones
Are cows and goats your most beloved?
Nothing is dearer than yourself
The supreme sacrifice is self sacrifice.
If you can restrain your senses and control your passions, Keep love within your heart .
You roam around with women without wedding them. You dance and sing together without shame.
The outside world is for men
The women's place is at home
Keep fear of Allah in your heart.
Woman is the seed of life,
Source of creation.
Those who believe in inequality lock women into marriage.
Woman is the vessel of love, the Mother
Without her we wouldn't come to earth
You need both man and woman for procreation and creation
If you want to be close to Allah
keep love within your heart. Pin It Now!
Bowl of Saki, by Hazrat Inayat Khan
Commentary by Pir-o-Murshid Inayat Khan:
When the spark that is to be found in every heart, the spark that may be called the divine spark in man, is blown upon and the flame arises, the whole life becomes illuminated and man hears and sees and knows, and he understands. A Sufi poet says that every leaf of the tree becomes like a page of the sacred book, when the heart is open to read it and when the soul has opened its eyes.
from http://wahiduddin.net/mv2/VI/VI_21.htm
No one can know anybody, however much he may profess to know, except the lover, because in the absence of love the inner eyes are blind. Only the outer eyes are open, which are merely the spectacles of the inner eyes. If the sight is not keen, of what use are the spectacles? It is for this reason that we admire all those whom we love, and are blind to the good qualities of those whom we do not love. It is not always that these deserve our neglect, but our eyes, without love, cannot see their goodness. Those whom we love may have bad points too, but as love sees beauty, so we see that alone in them. Intelligence itself in its next step towards manifestation is love. When the light of love has been lit, the heart becomes transparent, so that the intelligence of the soul can see through it. But until the heart is kindled by the flame of love, the intelligence, which is constantly yearning to experience life on the surface, is groping in the dark.
from http://wahiduddin.net/mv2/V/V_19.htm
Everything becomes spiritual once this door of the chamber of the heart is open. If a man is a musician, then his music is celestial. If he is a poet, then his poetry is spiritual. If he is an artist, then his art is a spiritual work. Whatever he may do in life that divine spirit manifests. He need not be a religious person, he need not be a philosopher, he need not be a mystic. It is simply that what was hidden in him and thereby was keeping his life incomplete begins to manifest to view, and that makes his life perfect.
from http://wahiduddin.net/mv2/VI/VI_22.htm
There is only one thing in the world that shows the sign of heaven, that gives the proof of God, and that is pure, unselfish love. For, all the noble qualities which are hidden in the soul will spring forth and blossom when love helps them and nurtures them. Man may have a great deal of good in him and he may be very intelligent; but as long as his heart is closed, he cannot show that nobleness, that goodness which is hidden in his heart. The psychology of the heart is such that once one begins to know it, one realizes that life is a continual phenomenon. Then every moment of life becomes a miracle. A searchlight is thrown upon human nature and all things become so clear that one does not ask for any greater phenomenon or miracle; it is a miracle in and of itself. What one calls telepathy, thought reading, or clairvoyance, and all such things, come by themselves when the heart is open...
What keeps man from developing the heart quality? His exacting attitude. He wants to make a business of love. He says, 'If you will love me, I will love you.' As soon as a man measures and weighs his favors and his services and all that he does for one whom he loves, he ceases to know what love is. Love sees the beloved and nothing else.
