Fusion Art and the Artist Rassouli

Creation is the product of synchronizing our energy with the universe. Once we experience the whole and recognize it, we become aware that we are nothing but the Divine Creative Force.

I do not start a painting with sketches, I do not paint on location and I do not work from photos.

Instead, many mornings, before the dawn, I climb a mountain to its peak. There , sitting in solitude, I observe rising of the sun. I watch plants open their leaves, buds tear up their dresses and the birds sing to the arrival of their creator. There is an interconnected serenity that allows all creatures to experience the divine unity. Having felt that creative energy, I rush to my studio, dip my brush into paint, and let it move freely on canvas.

My paintings are inspirational for they allow the observer to experience infinite viewpoints and perceptions. They are not abstract for they represent what is actually more real than what our eyes are able to see. They allow the viewers to be inspired by taking their own perception beyond their senses and their surroundings. "Relationship" is the most important aspect of my work. I believe that dream and reality coexist in this world. Light and shadow, nature and concepts, technology and feeling, the actual and the imaginary exist together. My art expands on the metaphysical and expressive ideas that I have drawn from Near Eastern mysticism: investigation of the nexus of internal and external universes. All things are connected in a cosmic web. To me, the interrelations and interactions between the parts of the whole are more important than the parts themselves. That is why I like to paint motion with no objects to move, action without players, and dance without dancers.

I work intuitively. When I paint, I am mindless, yet I am conscious. I feel that my timeless inner presence is a medium that carries that which I am not aware. I like to share my feeling of joy and exuberance with others. I like to show devotion and love and all other pleasures of the world in their most sensual grace and timelessness. ~ Freydoon Rassouli

Facing the Truth

When we are face to face with truth, the point of view of Krishna, Buddha, Christ, or any other Prophet, is the same. When we look at life from the top of the mountain, there is no limitation; there is the same immensity.

Jostein Gaarder ...

A truly inspiration writer, Jostein Gaarder. One of my most favorite. I simply fell in love when I started reading about "Sophie's World", his hugely popular novel about the history of philosophy. It was so addictive. Porbably the single most beautiful novel I have ever read in English Literature on such a heavy subject as philosophy. The way Jostein uses his writing talent to describe many fundamental questions about our existence and life has no comparison. After Sophie's World, it was The Solitaire Mystery. I really enjoyed this one as well.

Just yesterday finished reading the remarkable book, 'The Solitaire Mystery'.. by Jostein Gaarder. This is another beautiful novel after his successful book 'Sophie's World' which was a real mind opener. In Solitaire Mystery, the way Jostein express the philosophy of our life is truly remarkable. One of the most genius approach of his is telling one story inside another. It is as if "the innerbox is unfolding at the same time as the outbox is unfolding", a similie used in the novel. Problem with Moon

When no one look up at the moon, can we say there is a moon? This is a similar problem with God. Modern day people are busy with arguing about the question of God, but nobody is actually looking up at the moon. Everybody forgets to look deep down our heart where God's reflection is always there in our soul. He is smiling from there eversince. It is our heart which saves all the answer to our questions, but we hardly seek to find the answers.

Return to Inncence

The Journey of Life is a Fairy Tale. The way a child percieve this world is a great lesson for life. A new born take everything around him/her with great wonder. As we grow older, it seems that we forget we live in a wonderful world. If we can maintain the same look at the world, I guess that could be the most marvelous achievement in life. The way a child looks at everything is marvelous because only he realize what an extra ordinary world in which we live in. This is why he looks at everything at a great wonder. True that we are extra ordinary beings with life !! The most unbelievable thing in the universe.

Discoverying inner nature

For discovering one's true inner nature, I think one should try to take out some time, with quiet and relaxation, to think more inwardly and to investigae the inner world. That may help. Then when one is much invloved in hatred or attachment, if there is time or possibility during that very moment, just try to look inward and ask: "What is attachement? What is the nature of anger?"

Mindfulness

Nothing is more important than guarding the mind. Let us constantly keep watch over the wild elephant of the mind, curbing it with mindfulness and vigilance. This is how one can avoid being influenced by different exteral conditions. But even in retreat in a very secluded place, if the mind is not kept under control, it will wander all over the place. Even when completely alone, we can have an enormous amount of negative emotions.

True Spirituality

True spirituality is not a fixed faith or belief;
it is the ennobling of the soul by rising above the barriers of material life.

Truth

Truth is purifying, it is most lovable and peace-giving;
but what is truth? Truth is that which cannot be spoken.

Sign of God

Sign of God is His beautiful creations...it's not proper to look for God elsewhere, because through His wonderful creation He expresses Himself right infront of our eyes. We ourselves, this universe and everything around us and beyond us delcares His Glory. So let us discover and rediscover Him again and again, each and every day, every moment...

Direction of Heart

Every person follow the root of his tree.

I have discovered my inclination towards Philosophy. It is something that attracts me, fascinates me. I hope I can continue to seek my journey to wisdom which is the definition of a Philosopher.

Jostein Gaarder inspires me a lot. His book Sophie's World and The Solitaire Mystery really lit the candle inside me.

I also have fascination towards Astro-Physics. The Theory of Everything is something that is really interesting. It is such a field which is at the same time very important from Physic's point of view and also very spiritual. It is like reading the mind of God. Michio Kaku, Ervin Laszlo, Stephen Hawkings are some the people to look for in this field.

The search for spirituality is something which was always there and will be there. The quest of beauty in world religions ever fascinates me. I hope to keep in touch with it for a long time to come.

Wisdom from Dalai Lama on Meditation

It is necessary to have a combination of hearing, thinking and meditation. When you start practicing, you should not expect too much. We live in a time of computers and automation, so you may feel that inner development is also an automatic thing for which you press a button and everything changes. It is not so. Inner development is not easy and will take time.

On Spirtuality and God :: Sufi Inayat Khan

Sufi Master Inayat Khan

:: All things existing have their opposite, except God;it is for this reason that God cannot be made intelligible.

:: We each create our own God,but only His form we imagine, not His life, thus making many gods out of the one single Being.

:: God alone exists, whether thought of as one God or as many gods, for all numbers are simply an extension of one.

:: When the human heart becomes conscious of God, it becomes like the sea:it extends its waves to friend and foe.

Essential about All Religion

All of the different religious faiths, despite their philosophical differences, have a similar objective. Every religion emphasizes human improvement, love, respect for others, sharing other poeple's suffering. On these lines every religion has more or less the same viewpoint and the same goal.
