The difference between birds on the wing, and lovers of God, is that birds always fly in a certain direction, while lovers of God fly on the wings of their desire away from all directions.
That photo taken is so beautiful, it seems so peaceful and so full of warmth and character. Sometimes I just wish that I could just fly into the openness like those birds and just feel the freedom that they feel, not have to be tied down by obligations and duties, not having to worry, just be like them...fly into the sunset and be free..apart from that Rumi as always has something good ot give...
