No great artist ever sees things as they really are. If he did he would cease to be an artist. -Oscar Wilde.
And you know why?
Because then in the very core of our being we would realize how inadequate, impermanent and limited is our artistic existence and expression to the Master Artist of the Cosmos, the Alpha and the Omega.

Of course our ability is not perfect... but that doesn't excuse us from using it as best as we can. Does God give us ability for no reason? Does he inspire us for no reason? If I can share my vision, no matter how flawed, with one person and thereby bring that person closer to God, is it not worthwhile?
ReplyDeleteWhatever work God sets before us, we can't turn away from it just because we don't think we're up to the task.
Beloved Tiel,
ReplyDeleteWhenever i read a comment from you, it always enlighten me little by little. You always add a different dimension to it, no matter what is the theme.
Yes, i agree. My post was from one shore, u spoke from another shore. Thats brilliant.
But tell u a secret (which is a secret no more its expressed already).. We are created in the image of God, so we can also attain that perfection by the will of God. But the striving for it is very hard i guess. To become perfect is the core of the esoteric teachings from Kabbala to Quran.
And once human being attain that perfection he can touch a dead man to give life again by the will of God, because then the man surrenders his will completely to the Divine Will. So God's will and man's will merge together. That is the secret of miracles performed by saints, prophets and figures like Jesus (peace be upon him).
