In one previous post, titled, "Thoughts on Art work and its meaning" Tiel Aisha Ansari expressed her view very wonderfully on the topic. I brought up this issue on the meaning and interpretation of Art.
Here is what she said... Well, this is my view (as a sometime artist, or at least, an attempted one): Art comes from God, it only passes through me. Who knows what it means? God knows. I may guess, but sometimes I don't have a clue.
My viewpoint on it is no more valid than that of any other (human) observer.
Am I a Creator, that I should claim to have created art?
God owns whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth.
If He lets me borrow a poem or a story, that doesn't mean I get to call it "mine".
