Interesting take on free will. Do you believe in free will and how can it be proven? I'm of the belief that all things are always in Divine Order- that nothing happens without a reason. Why do I believe this? I cannot tell you except that either I make massive rationalizations 100% of the time (hey, where would we be without massive rationalization?)or I am a fool who is happy and a peace with this incredible, simple belief.
I am interested to test my beliefs as I grow older. Till now, I have known no tragedy or heartbreak. Will I know tragedy and heartbreak someday? Probably. But what if in my world nothing ever goes wrong?
I would like to hear your take on free will. What does Islam say regarding free will?
Beloved Isaiah, about my thought on freewill, pls read this post, http://mysticsaint.blogspot.com/2005/08/freewill-exist-and-doesnt-exist-at.html
Islam says God gave freedom to human being to choose. And still at the same time, God is the ultimate decider. He encompasses everything and He knows everything.
Both might seem contradict, but i focused about this issue in the post i mentioned.
I understand it is a hypothesis and I am very open to his point of view. The writer of that article "experiment on free will" clearly proved how limited his knowledge about the subject.
