The position of man in the universe is most important. Man is the microcosm, that is, a miniature universe. As such, he comprises in his outward or physical aspect all the elements found in the universe. In his inner aspect, he contains the potential qualities of all creation from the lowest to the highest, that is, animal, satanic and angelic. He shares the qualities of lust and selfishness with the pigs; the qualities of jealousy and anger with the dogs; his cunning and deceit with Satan; his power and his spiritual light with the angels. But, what is more important, through love and devotion to God he can rise even higher than the angels, for he is the mystery of God before whom the angels were commanded to fall in prostration. He was given command over the whole universe.

What an inspiring post to help us to all reach forward - moving beyond the animal level, beyond the angelic levels, into the "I AM" realization - where we and God are one!
ReplyDeleteDear Diesel,
ReplyDeleteAll praise be unto God who opened your soul to realize and have broad understanding. Without the grace of God, its not possible to have realization.
But again, a word of caution.. "I'm Realization" is something that is mystical, hidden and unspokable. Today we are living in an age of information, books, internet .. thats why we are able to share even what was very hidden truth and was not taught publicly by Jesus, Mohammad (peace be upon them). Becaues no matter how lengthy we give lecture on it, this is something beyond words, earthly feelings.
It comes only after evolution of our spiritual realization and when that comes, ah!! thats pure bliss !!
That phenomena is Nirvana according to Buddhist, thats "Merging with the Tao" accroding to Taoist, thats "Lost in God" according to Sufis and thats "I and My Father are the one" by Jesus. Thats merging of human soul to Supreme Soul (Brahman) according to Vandanta (Hinduism).
