Einstein's Religion

"My religion consists of a humble admiration of the illimitable superior spirit who reveals himself in the slight details we are able to perceive with our frail and feeble mind."-Albert Einstein

It reminds me the saying of Inayat Khan that, every person has a religion very perculiar to himself. No matter how you indoctrinate him or her, or be he freethinker, if he searches himself, he will have a development of faith and religion in him which is unique to himself.

  1. I´ve heard that Einstein suffered a lot for having been the man who made the development of the nuclear bomb possible through his scientific work.
That he had realized the danger, but that he didn´t believe for a moment that his fellow humans would even consider making use of this knowledge for that purpose, knowing how harmful it would be and the horrible consequences of it´s usage.
    What a burden to carry.

  2. You are right Greta. Einstein was always a man of peace, pacifist. He admired Gandhi very much.

His invention of nuclear power will benefit human race very much in the coming day when other sources of power will diminish. But again, that scar of nuclear bomb must have hurt him very much.
